  • Buddy Sue is the project arm of Rancho de Chihuaua, a 501c.3, non-profit organization with one mission: To enhance and improve the late-stage life experiences of senior and special need dogs throughout the nation, who otherwise would be killed.

  • For a myriad of reasons, dogs are turned in to pounds and shelters every day. Depending on the establishment, some are killed within 24 hours, while others may be offered for adoption, then killed if not re-homed. But senior and special needs dogs have little chance of finding a home. Even in the best case scenario–a no-kill shelter–they are condemned to a lonely life in a cage.

  • It doesn't have to be that way! The Buddy Sue Project will enhance and improve the late-in-life experience for countless dogs by modeling, inspiring, and teaching others how to create home-style hospice centers throughout the country.

  • PHASES TWO & THREE

    Simultaneos creations by our founders:

    • A documentary series highlighting the Buddy Sue Project so that others will consider creating their own hospice homes across the nation.

    • Development of a turn-key program so that like-minded others can have a model to follow in building their own hospice homes or converting existing structures. The program would include blueprints, educational, nutritional, and other support materials.
